Well, I am moving to Colorado next month for a new job, and my car is just one more thing to move. I don't drive it very often, and Colorado does a visual emissions test that I wont be able to pass.

Anyways, I am looking to get around 5,500 and I will throw all of the extras I never got to install like the bolt on VFN hood, and the center bolt heads that have had machine work for bigger valves and more valve guide clearance. I also have the valves and new 981 comp springs to go with them. All of my prom burning equipment will go with this too!

The paint is still in great shape but it could probably use a buffing. I was in the process of putting the ac back in but i never finished, I will include all of the new parts I bought. The cruise control is not in it anymore either but I still have the parts.

I think most of the people that have been here awhile know my car but you can check it out in my vb garage. Anyways, let me know if you are interested. No low ball offers please.

Check into Colorado's Antique laws. Your car qualify's for IL's Antique plates which means no more emissions (even if they didn't get rid of the IL240 test).

You might be able to get antique plates.

That may work I guess, but I honestly have little desire to move this thing yet again. I know that asking 5500 is a bit high too. So let me rephrase..... 5000 or best offer (within reason) I am planning on moving the car up to Chicago at the end of May, and if there has been no interest by then, I am contemplating just throwing it on E-Bay after a cleaning and a photo shoot.

Ya, part of me doesn't want to sell it, but once i get out in the mountains, I will get to do alot of other things i enjoy to do, along with a wife and kid, it doesn't leave much time to mess with the car. The crappy thing is that there are a lot of little things that need to be fixed before selling that would help me get a price close to what i want. I just don't have the time.

I was actually thinking of attending Thirdgen fest as a last fling and get the car around a bunch of potential buyers.

I know we have a few people who are probably coming that are looking to buy a nice Camaro. I think they are looking to spend a little less than you're asking but seeing your car may change their minds. I think you would definitely have a good chance finding a buyer there.

I am in the market for another camaro and I will be in the area during TGF so maybe I will swing by to say hello to a few old friends and check out the car. I don't really remember much about your car but I do recall it being pretty nice.

Damn that sucks you have to get rid of it. Yours is one of a few non IROC Camaros that I actually liked. Car is beautiful for those who are interested!
