Re: Long time no talk everyone!
Well....my life has been a roller coaster ride the last few years.....job loss(again...) my wifes job loss....and almost being homeless....woohoo!
Things are starting to look up though, I finally got my foot in the door at a great company, my wife is working from home currently(home=in laws for now) and we are expecting our first on april 15th!
No mustang here, i am happy with my 97....although i miss my 91 alot!
I do miss the days when all of us from here we get together....we should try to set something up.

Re: Long time no talk everyone!
Don't know if anyone remembers me, but I came out to a few events awhile back. For those who went, some remember me dressing up as a leprechaun when we went to Hooters way back when in Indiana. (Pic to follow)
Anyway, I finally graduated from Southern in Carbondale in December with my electrical engineering degree and that took up a good portion of my time. Still have my black 91 with almost 160k on it and it is not aging well. Drive it around daily and hoping to get a newer car when I get a job. Most likely going to sell it this year hopefully before the fall. Everyone else still have their cars or have they moved on?

I'll probably move on to a Vette, or some other 2dr toy car. Part of me wants a Fiero bad. But I'd have to be an 88' cause that has the revised suspension. I don't care about much else cause I'd be changing it.

Working on the road. Right now, in Colorado on a wind farm. I still check the board every couple weeks. It's died down a lot since the hey day a few years ago.
Won two regional Championships last year. Also, the only guy to beat the National Champion and his new 2011 Mustang. Car is almost 30 years old and still kickin' ***.

Re: Long time no talk everyone!
Look's like everyone is still around here and kicking on way or another
Now if we could only have a get together where everyone that says they will show up does.
I dunno who know and who doesnt, but I got a couple acres now, still got the cars and 2 of the 3 have seen better days.
My son is now 1 and almost 33#'s and he is 34 inch tall.
I'm still kicking but the lack of a job is taking a toll, but looking forward to be working again and getting the cars redone and having some fun.

@ 9d1burd, just realized you're in Bloomingdale. I'm in Roselle! Good stuff. Haha. Any other TGOers in our area. I just bought an 89 GTA about two weeks ago. Looking for some third gen buds. Out of everyone I know only 2 people drive thridgens, and they're both quite beat down.

I'm around, I don't drive my GTA much right now, it finally truly lives in the "toy car" role. In fact the tags just expired so I Can't drive it. I need to get that sorted out shortly. If you wanna do Thirdgen Fest you can either follow me, or ride along. Either way my car will be going. Heads/cammed, or just stock as it is now. I won't show up in the G6.
But the "Massive" work Tim refers to is heads/cam/6spd swap. I also have a 4th gen interior, LS1 upgrade, new badges, etc... The goal is to have it all in by Thirdgen Fest, but likely will not happen. $$$ is just not there and I need too many other parts to buy. Pushrods, Fuel Pump, AFPR.
So much work to do. Between Tim and I there isn't anything we haven't swapped/changed on a thirdgen.
