question about wiring harness.

Engine: 350tpi comming soon!
Transmission: fixed the 700r4 again!
question about wiring harness.

for those who have swapped out the stock harness, did you pop off the fender etc to get the old out out and the new one in?? are there any shortcuts I'm not seeing? the motor is mostly put together this is the biggest thing left other then greasing everything.

any tips would be great!

On my car we just removed the kick panel, and the fender liner and guided it up through the top.

The harness has a weatherpack tarred connection right there, its gooey, nasty, and makes a mess of everything but it does come out.

thanks bill ill give that a try tomorrow morning.. really didn't want to make the fender off etc

just make sure you reseal new one.. youll be suprised how much h20 can get in there and your carpet will stink like old shoes all the time if the matte gets wet.that stuff never dries.
