Off to Byron today. Hoping for a low 13.

sadly, apparently the spark retard wasn't because of the exhaust leak. Tight as a button, but still pulling 5* for some reason.
Its fine on the first gear up until about 5500 or so, then the PCM starts pulling 5* timing, and keeps it pulled throughout the entire run. The Knock Counts only increase in the 5700+ range. Its a repeatable pattern in every datalogged run I have.
The better air brought my 1/8th ET down and gave me an extra 1mph on average in the 1/8th mile. However my 1/4 mile trap speeds were down about 1mph on average.
60 foots dropped from 2.1x to 2.0x, with one 1.9 60 footer.
New best is a 13.504 @ 101.7mph. Previous best in worse air with an exhaust leak was a 102.67mph. I should have been trapping HIGHER thanks to the denser air, but instead I was 1mph down. Opening the cut-out made ZERO difference in trap speeds or ET.
Engine temps were a consistent 185* or so. With one or two run's going in the 195* range because I had to idle at the line for a long time and didn't want to shut the engine down and have to make a run in Open Loop.

Since you are having timing pulled due to know issues have you upgraded to an LT4 knock module?
