time to go racing!
Well of course we all have heard of about gathering plans here and there...some succeed and some don't....
Bill and I have decided we're gonna go racing at the Chicago Indoor Karting in Buffalo Grove next Saturday. Anyone who has free time and wanting to do this is more then welcome to join us. Believe me it's a good time if you have never done it before! Our arrival there will be around 5pm. I'm hoping there will be enough open racing by then, because last time we went, we arrived early only to wait an extra hour after they open, because of a reservation for a gathering that was held when the place opened. I will update if need be to let everyone know if there has been a change in time.
Oh yeah, just to let everyone know Bill's Bday is gonna be next weekend. So come out and celebrate his bday by racing side by side with us. The thing is i need some competition other then Bill, ha...j/king with ya man...
Mr. Bill if you can do the honors and work your computer magic as to guiding people on how to get there with a visual of a map, porfavor!
Catch ya'll at the track, I challenge you!!....

You guys will have a blast.
I'll be there Feb 2nd for a 3 hour enduro before the NASA Midwest banquest!
I better start going to the gym now to survive an hour in one of those karts!

I dunno Bill, i thought we agreed upon it being on next saturday. I mean i understand what your saying, however I'm not a member of the MFBA so it won't hinder me. Plus my bro has already requested to take next sat off from work, which for him is hard to even take a day off being he works like everyday.
Give me a hollar and we'll re-evaluate the situation...

Re: time to go racing!
First: So who do I look for on saturday at 5? I'll be driving a 1986 Black Trans am there if I come.
Second: Is this a group thing or just walk it racing? (Check the website if you don't know what I mean)
Third: I'm not 18 so what am I going to do?
Only been here once with my dad 4 years ago but didn't race(obviously too young)
I'd love to race if I can find out how to get in.

Re: time to go racing!
heya all, just wanna update on the situation for this weekend ...
I have postphone the event till a better time and weekend. Being from what Bill stated that the MFBA having their event this weekend and plus it's gonna be freaking cold outside this weekend and i'm not wanting people having to risk going out there and have something go wrong on the highway or something...no worth the chance.
When the whether gets a lil bit warmer then i'll rescedule the event. I really want to race! But I'll be patience for a lil while longer
as for the answer to Firebird896, i'm sorry bud but i believe you have to be at least 18 to race... Unfortunately my bro had to wait till last year to do so. Unless you can call up the track and as if there's any exceptions, i can't see anyway around it.
To be continued...>>>
