He never says what his price is. Why I wonder? Car looks decent to me. Too bad it's not a 89 or a 90 IROC.

Re: Does anyone recognize this car?
It does look like a decent car, but i was more commenting on the insane amount of BS in that ad.
I emailed him and he attributes all the power gain from some special pistons he used on his all original rebuild.
No timeslips and no MPH for what he states, imagine that.

Re: Does anyone recognize this car?
He is definetly trying to HYPE the car for a sale. Knowledgable thirdgenners would see thru the b.s. Never said how many miles on the car either did he. Hmmmm....

Re: Does anyone recognize this car?
Bull$hit. I want to see the dyno sheet. I'll be lucky to get much over 300RWHP with a 305 with '113 Corvette AL heads and a 220/230 cam.
I'll bet the dyno sheet is him spraying it.

Re: Does anyone recognize this car?
Not hype, downright lying.
He would need a 30.4 inch tire to hit 55 in first gear with a 3.08 rear.
Pretty impressive.

Re: Does anyone recognize this car?
Where does it say 55MPH in 1st gear? Either that or he's revving the crap out of it.
The stock tach was off by 1100 RPM at redline in my old '91 GTA.
5500RPM was actually 6600RPM... no wonder it quit pulling...

Re: Does anyone recognize this car?
The 55 in 1st gear was part of an email i got after asking some questions about it.
Now there "may" have been ported heads, cam, runners, and a ported intake installed by a previous owner.

Re: Does anyone recognize this car?
The cage could have been removed, just like the t-tops were added. If im not mistaken when i looked at the car i believe it had a radio delete as well, but i wasnt able to took at the SPID sheet to verify what he had said. I know he told me he has a lot of the players car stuff in storage. Im the one that sold the flowtech exhaust that is on the car.

Re: Does anyone recognize this car?
i dunno what his ad says, but it apears that was my iroc..
to those interested it really IS a completely rust free iroc,
its an original 80k some odd mile tpi 5spd 1le players car,i still have all the documentation as well as the rollcage, the spare tire/air canister
as i said,i dunno what his ad claims, but the car ran low 13s on nuts, and 12.4s on spray
the motors rebuilt with .030 over KB pistons, custom ground cam{mild} and fully ported heads/intake and LOTS of chipwork
the car had/has it's issues it needed paint pretty badly, and various other odds and ends, but as long as the tool who owns it now hasnt beat it up,it WAS a damn good car.

Re: Does anyone recognize this car?
ive got no idea dude, when it left my ownership,it was a damn nice car, with minimal investment and time it could have been show worthy,it was THAT clean
its major problem was the paintjob, and the carpet,it had new carpet installed, but the owner before me really hacked the carpet up installing it.
i heard through the grapevines that gearoil was put into the motor to stop it from knocking,i dont know if thats true or not, just something i heard when i was out street racing one night.
when i owned it,the car mechanically was in incredible shape, the motor internally was spotlessly clean, and it didnt burn or leak oil,i had to replace the harmonic dampner and while i was at it i ported the intake/heads
if anyone sees the car for sale again, contact me and id be more then happy to look at it with you,i could tell you EXACTLY whats been done to it since i sold it.
i made a TON of money streetracing that damn car,not many tpi vehicles can run deep into the 13s and well into the 12s it caught alot of people off gaurd. i have tons of detaield pics of the car too if anyone wants em.

Re: Does anyone recognize this car?
it routinely beat the snot out of ls1 cars and lt1 cars were a joke
ive owned them all,the car just ran DAMN good.
besides, cmon now, having a car that will run mid 13s consistently on the street will net you ALOT of money,as the other guy posted, civic owners have deep pockets, and they are ignorant

Re: Does anyone recognize this car?
that car has been relisted on craigslist like every single week for the past month but he doesnt make as many claims as in the first post everyone is talking about, when I looked at it there was a major engine problem that seemed like it was trying to be covered up and yes I heard something about gear oil in the engine to stop it from knocking from some kids I know that do to much street racing.
