I just counted 19 for sale/wanted to buy posts on the front page of our board. Is anyone doing anything interesting besides selling stuff?

Here is a quick update from me:

I have decided to part with my thirdgen for now to try and finish my 97. I do want another one in the next year or so, more than a likely a GTA or black formie. Trying to finish both cars weighs very heavy on my already light wallet. I still plan to come out to any of the thirdgen events.

How about we use this to post to catch up on what everyone is doing, and try to use this board for more than just a tradin times.

I asked jeremy a long time ago to allow us to have one sticky where each person is allowed one post to sell items, and can continuously edit it as things are sold, or leave it blank when they have nothing to sell and all questions, etc can be answered through PM's only. He never did anything with that idea but at most it would be what 20 posts long since there aren't that many regulars on here.

I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I fixed the flex plate on the Iroc and I took it over to my uncles to store for the next year or two while I finish doing everythng I wanna do to my 94 TA.

Busting my *** on the race car.

I took today off work and I made the mounting bracket for the fuel pump, finished up the braided lines to tie the stock hardlines to the fuel cell, and I'm going to wire it up in a second. I swapped out the leaky steering box last night. Gotta drop the radiator back in, finish the radiator box and air dam up front, mount the brake ducts and run the hoses, then fill up the fluids to get ready to start her up tomorrow.

My dad just ripped half his thumb nail off making the mount brackets for the brake ducts. Ouch

I'll be on the road to Iowa Speedway this time next week

May 19-20 • Putnam Park (Mount Meridian, IN)

June 30-1 • Mid-America (Pacific Junction, IA)

July 21-22 • Autobahn - South (Joliet, IL)

August 4-5 • Road America (Elkhart Lake, WI)

September 13-16 • NASA National Championships @ Mid-Ohio (Lexington, OH - This will be really cool)

October 8 • Autobahn - Full Track (Joliet, IL - Monday Only)

October 20-21 • Road America (Elkhart Lake, WI)

If you guys want to come out and watch, Autobahn in July would be good or if you want to make a weekend out of it, Road America is going to be cool in July. We'll probably be camping at RA so you don't have to worry about cost of rooms, just bring a tent. If you want to watch a TON of racing with all different cars, come to the National Championships in September. It's like the SCCA Runoffs if you've heard of them.

I could just get annoyed and lock all the for sale posts as I've done in the past.

I'm not making a for sale sticky, it just makes more work because people wont edit there posts as they go and Tim or I will have to do it anyhow.

I dont care about for sale posts, but if people like to abuse it I can lock them all to make sure everyone understands the point.
