Everyone was so helpful finding a front bumper cover for my car that I thought I'd try to do my neighbor a favor. He just finished building a mild 350 for his thirdgen. During break-in, #4 piston shattered and broke the block. He suspects foul play after finding a 5/16" nut floating around inside.
I know the dissapointment he must be going through, and wish to help him find a new short block 350. I'm sure he preferres one that at least runs so he knows the crank and rods are still good. He plans on going through it with rings, bearings, oil pump, etc. anyway before he drops it in. Thanks in advance for your help.

i have one that needs the crank polished/cut and block bored out, but it's a 4 bolt main block. tell him $150 and he picks it up.

disassembled, i was going to toss it into my camaro after rebuilding it, but went a different route on the shortblock. this one has been sitting for about 3 months now i believe. crank is in a plastic garbage bag and all the rods are numbered and in individual bags as well.

I have a 2 bolt l98 bare block I have the crank but thats it, free if he wants it.
