I'll go with build it.
I like doing things my way, and than I know their right in the first place.
I wouldnt wholey discount buying as there are some good deals out there, but unless someone spent some serious cash, more often than not you end up redoing everything anyhow.

well since i have 4 times the amount into this car as what it's worth.....i'd say BUY IT. i'd get a nice built car, and save thousands upon thousands. It's just coming up with 10 k intially rather than making small purchases over 6 years like I have done. I'd never build one again, I'd buy someone else's project when they get bored/burnt out/divorced whatever.

I say build it cause I get picky as to exact parts I want. always thought if my car was ever on overhaulin, I might go out and change things immediately. paint and wheels in particular would have to be my way.

And I'd never swap a V6 car again either when there's eleventy billion V8's out there that already have all the correct mounts, pulleys, brackets, etc. etc.

I've gone after a lot of other peoples projects, look at a dollar vs cost issue.
Also what can I use that he already payed out the nose for on my own cars and what do I have left to sell when I'm done taking what I want?

I've been building my car for over 2 years now and I don't think my bill has even come close to 3G's yet. And I'm doing a complete 350 rebuild and trannyswap. Now if you would add up the extras like the 4th gen interior and other stuff like that. Yea maybe, but the 4th gen int among other things was free
