Just wondering if any of the local people are going to the power tour in Arlington Heights on Thur. June 10 and maybe getting a bunch of third gens together afterwards someplace

What time are you talking Flirtin'? I may not be able to caravan up to Arlington, but I can probably meet you guys there. I already have plans on going with a few other cars.

I can't believe it's here already. I've been thrashing on my '66 for two months and it's finally done... well, not done, but it's going.

Flrtin1: I'll catch you in Davenport and I hope to meet some of the local TGO crowd at the Arlington Hts stop. Look for me driving my black 66 Caprice.

Me and Jeff were doing the long haul, but in Springfield Missouri we had Tranny problems. So we headed home. We were at the Arlington Heights show with my 89 IROC-Z but parked in the spectator parking. We were not there long due to the rain and everyone was leaving.

Hey guys sorry if I missed anyone at Arlington but when we stopped for lunch in Byron I felt my steering tighten up and found that the P/S stud that is in the head had sheered off in the head and there was only one bolt holding the pump on. We decided to chance driving the last 100 miles that way and luckily it held but I spent from 4 til 7 in the hotel parking lot getting the bolt out (in the rain) by then everything was almost over!
On the good side I got a quarter page picture of my car on the front page of the metro section in the St Louis paper and Hot Rod took some pictures and put them on their web site Here
I had at least 4 people from this board stop and say hi during our trip just wanted to say it was good meeting all of you

Hey I was there at Arlington Park for the power tour. It was raining but I was there. I met THEPOZ89 while I was there and saw this awsome 91 RS with a House of Colors paintjob. It was a deep purple with black 4th gen heritage style stripes. He said it had 8 coats of color and 14 coats of clear!

YES! THAT IS THE CAR! That pic does not do that car justice. That is the single cleanest third gen on the face of this fine planet.
