NHRA Summit ET Finals 2013, Heartland Park Topeka
September 13-15. Curious if any TGO members plan on being there.
I'll have the '82 Berlinetta there, Lord willing and the creek don't rise.

There were a lot of 3rd gens there. The last 3 cars in Sportsman were Camaros, two 3rd gens, the other a 1st gen. Of course, the 3rd gens had to run against each other in the semis. The 1st gen ended up winning.
Ugly Betty made a pretty good showing, but the driver was lacking. New best of 11.82 @ 114 on Saturday morning. Due to concerns with rain forecast for Sunday, they moved the start of the Sunday race to Saturday afternoon. I did the same thing I've done the previous 4 years and went out 1st round.

And my apologies for the "creek don't rise" tongue-in-cheek comment. I had no idea what was to come.
