A little over two months...

And we will not be a part of the Camaro world . But it is for a good reason. We won't be selling the Camaro, but it will be going into storage...for a long time. It seems that we will most likely be moving to Australia after the first of the year. We will be staying through the holidays and then moving shortly there after. Anyway, my dad got (or will be getting the official offer) a job down there and they are deciding on whether they want him in Melbourne or Sydney. Personally we all want Melbourne because we have been there a lot, have friends there, it is home to the football that my dad and I play and love to watch, and it is cheaper to live in Melbourne. I will probably look at going to school down there as well (graduate school), as there are a couple of options out there as to what I want to do.

The good news is that when we come back into the States every couple of years (actually probably every year for the holidays) is that it will be good to get the goat out again. Now the company that he will be working for will give him a car allowance. They haven't said how much, but who cares. He gets paid on a different basis just to have a car . We may even look at one of the new Commodores (I doubt we will be able to get an SS V, but who knows). So it looks like we will have to really start packing up a bunch of this crap that has accumulated over the years (we have been in this house for almost 16 years).

I want to thank the club for the few meetings, or lone meeting, that we have been to so far. We will try to make it to a few more before we leave but cannot make any gurantees. We will be busy the next couple of months trying to sell some things, including the house. So if you want some .040" over pistons, TPI manifold with runners, or red hood in very good shape then let me know. Otherwise it will all be going to a junkyard or the trash. At this point we will not be asking much if anything for them as we really need them out of the house.

P.S. Anybody know of where we can store a couple of cars safely and for reasonably cheap?

Holy mackerel man, we hadn't even gotten to know you guys yet!! At least we got to "put a face to the name" I guess...

Well, I don't blame you - even setting aside the professional opportunity, living in Oz will be enriching in a personal sense, and give you some great memories/stories. Best of luck man, & make sure you stay in touch...
