Bandimere night
We went up to Bandimere tonight to do a little running, Mr leeperryracing was there, twobirds, Heather, myself and Gary too. We had a good time and got a few runs in, not as many as I would have liked to but wow what a crowd. We need to arrange a meeting up there next season, as I'm sure its too late to try to set one up now (only two weeks left). It would be cool to get ten or more of us up there.

I would be totally down to have a MHTG track day meeting. Lets set one up in the spring.
Hey, who's car ended up being faster... yours, or hers?
Post some times.

I just found out about this now! I wouldn't have been able to make it anyways. But, I am down for the next one. Especially after headers, injectors and no CAT. Whoooo hooooo!

Seeing as Bandimere is open for the next two Wednesdays, we will try to make it to this Wednesday and possibly next Wednesday as well. We are hoping to drop into the 14s, or at least a 15.0 or 15.1. Our previous best is a 15.298 @ 90.01 mph. That was on a Wednesday when it was around the high 80s, so these days should be better.

I am definitely going up to the track this wednesday again, last week was fun! saw a couple of our members up there. The faithful ole sport coupe gave me three 13.6's but with a horrid 2.1 60ft...I have a technique to try this week and that SHOULD put me down into at least the 1.9 range, lets see! I would really like if MHTG would come out in their numbers for the last two T&T of the season. Lets make our presence felt guys!!

I think that if the owner of the shop will cover for me I might be able to take off early on wed to come. I don't think I will be shooting for any personal bests this time... got a rich running condition. Who knows maybe too much fuel will help, but it doesn't feel like it. Next season I should have new injectors, and maybe some traction, and then I can get in the hunt for 14's too!

Well, sorry guys but it looks like I won't make it this Wednesday. Dad had to go to Alabama and he took the car to the airport. Will try for next Wednesday though.

Drive the Jetta to the air port and park it there for the evening while you borrow the Camaro, or maybe you should just run Dads GTO

No, the GTO is his baby. He might let me drive it, but we are more interested in improvements for the Camaro. I might have time to go to the airport and grab it Wednesday and take it back. Otherwise I will keep it next week when he has to go to Philly. That will be the more likely option.

Well it kind of seems like next week might be the best week to make this happen for most folks. I think that I might just try and order new injectors and see if I can't get them in before next Wed.

I will most likely be there this week and next. I probably won't run my z28 this week. We need to figure out why it is bogging down when the 4 barrels open up. I can just run Garett's car seeing how I ran 17.11 last week in it. That is the best time so far for his car. Hope to see you all there.

So when are we doing this? This wednesday (4th) or next wed. (11th). I can go either wednesday. We need to organize! Please post if you can make it the 4th, or the 11th. I'd love to see a bunch of us up there. I put off a trip to Gypsum on Wed. when everybody responded to my post, I wish we could have gotten something like this going earlier when the weather wasn't so iffy. I'll be there either Wed so lets see which one works best for the most people. See you there!

The 4th is no good for me - I will have already worked about 50 hours this week by tomorrow evening, & the only driving I'll be doing is "home for a beer"...
The 11th will probably work though - it'd be great to get a rough baseline before I do any "real" mods...

Thats all I'm doing, other than just having fun. All I've done to mine is the A/C delete, minus the a/c box on the firewall, Tim do you still have an extra delete heater box?

just wanted to say how much fun being at track yesterday was! the weather was perfect and everybody was enjoying the event. BIG thanks to Garrett and 19RS92 for helping me out with my rear left exhaust hanger that came loose after the bolt went awol(some zip-ties came in handy). My best for the night was a 13.42 @103 with a 1.96 60ft, still spining...if i could just dead hook i think the car will break 12's N/A! well i'll do it all over again next week and hopefully more members WILL show.

I ordered my fuel injectors yesterday, so they should show on monday, and I will install after work. I have ran it past the boss man, and SHOULD be able to leave early enough to come AS long as it doesn't get to busy! I still plan on coming even if I don't the get the injectors in.

Garett's (19rs92) car did great. I ran a 17.16 in it his best is around 17.3 but I am 70lbs. lighter then him. My car ran 18's last week and was boging down, but we changed the fuel filter and the fuel pump and I got a 17.78 last night. Garett ran it for me a few times and there is still something wrong. We need to rebuild the carb. Our buddy Gary pasted emissions and with in a couple of hours took the cat off and he ran a 16.8 last night. We did all have fun!!! We hope to see more third gens next week!!! Lee's car looked so cool going down the track!

Heather, you know two people gave me same compliment about my car looking real cool going down the track! I'm always the one driving so i don't get to see the "coolness" of it going down the track. I have the sport comp 5in. tach and speedo mounted in the stock location, the amber shift light right beside the lighter socket, 2 5/8 sport comp oil temp and oil press. guages under the vents in the middle of the dash and a tranny temp guage along with the innovative air/fuel meter mounted on the far side across from the radio. I guess all that makes for one sweet light show down the 1320! I may have one of you guys drive it next time so I can get the view

Man, I was trying to tell you guys before the season started to come out for Club Clash, but couldn't seem to get your attention. I even went to the finals one night in the Camaro (which I don't normally race), and none of you were there to witness it. . .
I've got other commitments Wednesday nights, so I can't join you now.

Actually, I haven't even been to Bandimere this year...
I'm planning on that changing on Weds.

I'll try to be there, but I still have to do things to my car before I can take it and run it. If I get my ignition box by than I'll be there, if not I might show up without the car.
Either way I'll try to make it.

Come on Sasa, you don't *NEED* a ignition box to get some base numbers on your car. Specially since it is the last time you can t&t this year.

You're right, but believe me, I'd do much better with the ignition box. My ignition is on the weaker side seeing how changing from Bosch to Delco pluggs made such a big difference, including emissions.
I'll try to be there, but I am not totally sure.

What the hell, let's go for it!
Current forecast calls for a high temp just under 50 degrees, with a 30% chance of precip... What the hell, I'm gonna go for it too. Might as well embarrass myself along with some of the rest of you guys.. (Just need to finish installing my 6AL.)

The problem is that I don't have much money right now and that ticket is lingering. I have to be in court on 18th. So, I'll try to make it, but I am not sure if I'd have any money.

Well I got my new injectors today and was telling my service advisor that I was going to install them tonight, so that the car would be ready for WED. She says to me "Are you talking about next WED?" NO, I'm racing this WED. To make a long story short, my boss gave her the day off and had been meaning to tell me, and forgot! She has family in town for one day and has already made plans.
I won't be coming to the track , but from the looks of the weather none of may be going either! If the weather opens up have fun guys and gal.

As far as the weather goes, I checked it about 3 minutes ago, & it says that the high for Weds. should be around 56 degrees, & partly cloudy. Good enough for me!

Well, we will probably just meet up as people get there. we can set up camp in the upper pit area, how about mid track? Once you get in go to the left of the staging lanes for you inspection then come on up top. I'll be there at about 3:30, the gates open at 4:00. If you get there early and are one of the first through the inspection line you can get a lot of runs in before it gets too busy. Hope it doesn't rain

I am not running my car this week due to the carb problem . I will be there to take pics and watch everyone run! I also check the forcast and there is only a 30% chance of rain so that looks pretty good! So far we have got for sure:
