Anybody here going to the Track Day out at Bandimere? It is Wed. May 10th starting at like 8am. I will be out there with both the cars. Have to see improvement from last year when we had the 305 in it.
Oh here is the website if you are interested: www.coloradotrackday.com.

I had no plans, being a workday and being somewhat expensive.
I went to some Racecar Test Nights last year, only requirement is to run slicks (DOT slicks like ET Streets & DR's are fine) or run 11.99 or faster. No waits in the staging lanes like the typical T&T nights. $50 instead of the "regular" T&T $30.

Hmm. TBIs suck at this altitude. However, some NOS would be a good wake up call !
I was thinking about running my TBI up there, but its really not worth it.
I am thinking about getting some slicks and subframe connectors and see where that nets me.
Hmm. I am gonna do more research.
you might see me with NOS, once I get Knight Rider conversion underway.
Laters.

HEy, what do LS1's run up here!?!? Whats the correction formula??

In '03, I was talking to a Minnesota racer while we were waiting to get into the Div V finals at Bandimere, asked him what his Camaro ran back home. He told me, I got out the calculator and told him, "It'll run 12.3's here." Later that day I saw him in the staging lanes and asked him how it was running - he pulled out his last time slip (after his final jetting change, he said), 12.33.

THe tuning is out here, i kind a"misplaced" the info during moving so i gotta get it from him again, i guess his last tuning guy recomended this guy becasue of the severity of the swap.....on a side note i know alot of people happy with redlines tuning work

Yeah man that keith guy is a cool old man, real nice. His combo sounds killer, can't wait to see, and hear it. Yeah I talked with redline one time in the past, and they just didn't act like they wanted to even touch a tpi again. Oh well. Let me know about who does your tuning down there when you get things figured out. Would really like to find someone with good third gen experience.

Thanks man, makes me feel a little better about my times. I think if I did that right, should be rolling in the high 13's at sea level. I feel like that pretty decent for a bolt on 305 tpi.
