Welcome to the group! Be patient, one will come up. The worst thing you can do is jump on the first thing that comes available! Good luck on the search!

it is most likely grease build up covered in road grime.

Looks to be pretty clean from what you can see, just some surface rust which isn’t a big issue.

Re: NEW HERE

Hang in there man. I did a ton of looking and found this 91' RS in Vacaville for $10,500 (bought it for 9,800). The guy I bought it from just had it repainted. From what I saw, alot of 3rd gens in NorCal were either project cars with tons of things half done and kinda half assed looking or 'original' ones that are in poor condition from general neglect, but are pretty cheap (some less than 5k).

That's a nice RS, love that color!!
That's all you see here in So-Cal, either project cars, hacked up cars, or "original" cars that need a bunch of work. The bad thing is you would think you can get one of these cars for under $5K, but everyone has them posted for like $7-9K. The ones that don't need a lot of work are in the $10K range. I'm not sure if any of these actually sell or not.

Looks pretty good, also good to have the 9 bolt rear end with disc brakes. That's a Z28.
