Good Exhaust Shop

I need one. My exhaust guy cant do 3" pipe. I want to buy some mandrel pipe but dont really know what i would need. Any got someone or somewhere that i can take my car to? This is going to require taking the headers on and off to get a perfect fit. Thanks

Re: Good Exhaust Shop

What do you mean he can't do 3" pipe? Bend it?
In Sac there's Marco/Muffler Tech that you'd think could handle what you need.
There's also midnightperformance.com in Rancho. They are more import specialists from what I recall, but had one of the only true mandrel benders around. I went there with my Supra years ago and they were good with fabrication, cages, exhaust and had a dyno.

Yeah He can't bend 3". I might have to call the place in rancho. This won't be a full exhaust job. Just got to connect it to my I-pipe. But I think getting there will take some work.

Yeah give 'em a call and see what they can do before ya haul it out there. It's near the wreck yards sorta.

Dude made a downpipe fit nicely for me and also fab'd a pipe for a BOV on the turbo Supra I had.

Re: Good Exhaust Shop

NOR CAL muffler and Mufflers n More in Manteca have 3 inch benders...but If your exhaust is illegal I cannot say for sure if either of them would touch it...

Re: Good Exhaust Shop

I recently coughed up the $1200 for the 3" dyes. If you're looking for good 3" exhaust, call me. I re-did mine, it's dumped just before the rear axles. Looks & sounds killer.

Theres only 2 bends in it when it comes off the header so there not alot of need for it to be "mandrel". It also sits really low w/ the Spohn trans X-member. (I wont say how many degrees the bends need to be...)

CAUTION #1
There's not a lot of room for dual 3" if your car sits really low, during some testing I scraped both pipes really bad on a 2nd gear shift, but hey it sounds cool.

CAUTION #2
If you dont have a low sitting trailer, you'll prolly scrape loading/unloading.

If you're looking to have Bennie learn how to do 3" exhaust, call him

If you're looking for mandrel bent exhaust, get ready to drop some $$$.

Call me.......
