Re: JUNE GTG - Sacramento Raceway + BBQ
I friggin love it. Although my microswitch for the reverse lights messes up as it pleases. I can really focus on the RPM's and not worry about going from 1 to D etc...

Re: JUNE GTG - Sacramento Raceway + BBQ
I bent the micro switch tab out a bit further on move as well to remedy that problem. I suggest you do the same. I run a second micro switch so it has to be in p/n to activate my starter switch relay

What? You have to lay the smacketh down on Joey man! And 4 is fine I just like hanging out with y'all haha.
Bennie's doing my ECM swap and some other oddball items that didn't get finished and then I have to work with my tuner at the dyno since I'll be speed density now and need the load bearing, instead of a street tune.

Negative. Losing the MAF is just an added benefit (hopefully). I just wanted an ECM that can read the boost.

I was wondering why I saw your reverse lights on while you were driving forward leaving the pit area, haha.
Oh I'm sure Joey's magical long tubes and slicks will leave the Silver Bullet in the dust.

Yeah it kind of pissed me off. Im like no one watches my car and tells me about this before I go to the track? wtf. haha. Well i hope you get it all done. I guess you can always run the 4th gen!

Word, but my hands are kinda tied. I'm working like 9 hour days and usually 6 days a week with side jobs. Tuner's sched is also tough and I'll have to coordinate with dyno shop too after hours probably. I'm like the middle man in my own mess, haa. Still have 3-4 weeks, so I'm hopeful.

Re: JUNE GTG - Sacramento Raceway + BBQ
Yes, there is usually an adequate amount of parking in the pits if you're there before racing starts. You just pay $5 for admission at the booth and can drive in and around to the pits. We park the cars in 1 spot and BBQ right there by them. There is parking on the outside where you pay otherwise and you walk in.

Sounds good, added! I know there is the American Graffiti show in Modesto that day. I'm not sure if I can make it to that too.

Anthony might have a little more track experience coming into it and knows his car well. With a new setup and some unknowns on Tim and his 'bird, it's hard to say!
What're you hoping for with the new and improved setup John?
BTW, that might be the first time Eric's heard that!

Well I for sure will be there and if my steering column was fixed, I'd race too. I just feel it's too loose to be going fast. Wouldn't mind an engine bigger than my 305 too!
Also, what do you want us to bring??

enragedyouth85 - Take your pick from below. Thanks and glad to have you on board.
I think we've got bases covered 2x with chips/sodas already.
Condiments for the hot dogs (mustard/ketchup/relish)
Side dish
Dessert
Cooler/s and ice???
Are we missing anything else??
Bringing something is not mandatory folks, but I dig the support!

Haha, this guy. If I wanted to be a GTG **** I would require 3rd gens only.
I'm just glad this will be a good turnout of new and old folks.
More seat time is always a good thing Anthony. I'm sure you could play more with your launch/air pressure with the new DR's and your shifting with the converter.

My car hood could count as a table and/or chair!
I don't believe I have any folding chairs though..
What do you guys think about me possibly making some buffalo wings?
