Re: Aug 14, 2010 Grudge Nite
Haha. Really a combination of things that are leading to the low boost most likely. Nothing conclusive yet and surely not 9psi from the current 3psi (yet).
The Procharger surge valve is not a great piece and is at fault for at least 1psi. New solution coming soon.
Bennie noticed some flexing of the main head unit bracket, which may be the cause of significant belt slippage. He's diligently working on fabricating a more secure setup.
A blower tensioner pulley was missing bearings somehow (yikes), so I have a new one on order.
Nothing else too exciting to report thus far. New 3-wire heated O2 sensor went in recently as well.
Hopefully in 8 days I'll be able to see some new results!

Re: Aug 14, 2010 Grudge Nite
I dont really think its a planned GTG just more of a little meeting . it starts at 6 pm so I dunno if Joey or Marc or Del were planning on being there earlier with stuff like that but I do not think so. Might be too late to orchestrate anything now...

Re: Aug 14, 2010 Grudge Nite
There is no way to cook out there at that time. Gates open up at 5pm and racing starts at 6pm. Just enough time to unload and get your car checked out.
I just got a big problem today. Installed my new part and while i was driving, i blew a air line for my air suspension. I was on the freeway and my car just dropped in the front. Lucky i was able to drive it home with some scrapping. I just got to figure out what to do next. Looks like i will be pulling an all nighter tomorrow.

All is good! Fixed the Air line problem. Moved it to another location, used fuel injection hose to isolate it from the heat. Drove it yesterday. Not problem. But my rear passenger seat gets super hot now. I got to do something about that. hope to see all you guys out there. Im hoping to run 10sec
