9 bolt for sale $200
The 9 bolt is a 3.27 posi with pbr disk brakes and lines, calipers only, no rotors or pads, and one of the parking brake springs are missing on the pass side.
Will deliver local or cover gas if distance is reasonable.
PM me for info

Re: 9 bolt for sale $200
So here's a question... I bought a 9 bolt with PBR's and installed it on my Bird before I left Cali. I liked this choice for the rear disks (better stopping) and the compromise between staying at 2.73 and going to 3.42. The 3.27 was a nice improvement from the 2.73 peg leg.
The question is how do I know if the posi is worn out or not? If I step on it from a stand-still the crappy TBI won't break traction (and it hooks pretty good actually) but from a corner when I accelerate I only get one wheel spinning -- usually on the inside wheel of the turn.
Is the posi supposed to work that way?

Re: 9 bolt for sale $200
sounds like its shoot, or on its way out to me. with a positive traction(limited slip, same thing) rear it should basically act like an open diff until maximum traction is needed then both wheels lock together basically. In my cars if I hit it in a corner it will either hook and go, or spin both wheels and the rear ends comes around. You could also do a burnout and see if it leaves 1 or 2 black lines
