404HP 452TQ

I was playing with desktop dyno and with all the specs and flow numbers I could find for what I have thats what I cam up with.

404hp@5500rpm and 452TQ@4000rpm

ofcourse this is N/A with 8.5:1 CR. I can't add boost in the version I have. I still plan to run 12psi so I hope to make a little more power than that.

Re: 404HP 452TQ

I've found that desktop dyno is usually pretty optimistic, but who knows. So what's the new combo?

I was think it would be closer to 320ish hp with that low of compression. I will be happy with 450hp with boost.

Im not ready to let the cat out of the bag just yet, but the TPI is going bye bye. hopefully I'll drop the motor in the car next month.

I also found a formula that guesstimate HP with boost. I came up with 700+hp, had a good laugh with that one.

HPafter=((14.7+boost)/14.7)*HPbefore

This is for the formula. The iroc is sitting next to the formy. It should be back next year, hopefully.
