Few pics after detailing the GTA

Been awhile since I posted some pics and at least 2 years since I clayed/waxed the GTA.

Came out pretty decent. Shot a few pics afterwards

Still hoping to re-paint next year and take care of several blemishes it has.

See you all next Saturday for racing hopefully!

Thanks fellas.

The same factory gunmetal metallic color. It has faded to more of a gray over the years.

How does that S/C sound?
Sounds like a jet turbine with a loose belt. Love it.

That's a pretty bird Del. No wonder you can afford to re-paint a car this good... you've got that get out of jail license plate

It's a stainless steel plate/emblem I bought a few years ago that is affixed on top of the 3rd brake lights to let the LEDs show through the lettering.

I've had the license plate almost 10 years now and no jail time, so maybe it does help.

That, and no cop would ever have a tow truck driver haul that beauty away

I know lots of cops and none would give that car a ticket with that plate!

I love it!

Re: Few pics after detailing the GTA

One of my favorite "cop stories" was from a few years ago when I was out for a cruise.

Officer pulls me over to let me know all my taillights are out (i just blew a fuse moments earlier).

I tell him, thanks, I know, I'm on the way home and will take care of it.

He's fine with that and then proceeds to ask me if he can take a picture of my car, specifically the license plate because he likes cool/funny plates.

Who am I to argue? I let the guy snap a shot of the rear and he was on his way.

I like how it has all the little flowers 'n grass along the bottom of the plate design, haha.

That's a great story Del. A picture of your rear end is hanging in some cops locker

Yep, still under covers. Haven't turned it over in a year.
Someday when I have a bigger house, more $ and done with the GTA I'll slowly start on restoration.
