Is that aluminum on the plug? I can't tell.

Have you been able to watch your fueling at all? Do you have a scan tool? It would be good to make sure you aren't detonating under boost.

Oh, and those Edelbrock headers really make plug changes harder? I hated changing plugs with the stock manifolds. The SLP's I put on made plug changes super easy. Of course I deleted the smog equipment so that gives me some more room.

for the record, hooker super comps (long tubes) are all easy except for the #1 plug.

no sure what you mean about the aluminum, but it's on there not something that you can rub off. I only have the fuel pressure gauge and its goes a little over 80psi. I tried to datalog with tunerproRT but couldn't get it to record. on the street it runs great, even under part throttle in boost it runs good. even under full throttle it runs good up until 4500rpm then it starts to break up, and back fire. thats what made me think its ignition related. I would think im getting enough fuel volume with the 255lph intake pump and the inline pump. still haven't had the wideband installed, Im gonna try and get it installed this month.

Im about ready to just give up on cars anyone wanna buy an eclipse GSX I have all the parts that should fix it $800

Re: Pulled a coupe plugs this morning

Be careful running your car. Your about to male a big donation to the aluminum gods. That is piston on the spark plug. Either the blower is blowing out the flame or the ignition can't fire it. It could also be the tune up is off. Either way it misfiring under boost is very dangerous.

That looks as if it is about to be really costly!

Re: Pulled a coupe plugs this morning

I was thinking about getting 1 step colder NGK's(UR5?) but I read that lots of idleing and part throttle driving could couse the plugs to foul. this is my daily driver for the most part, I don't wanna be changing plus every 2 months.
