Look what I bought
An 88 T/a. It only has an LB9/700R4 but I bought it for a flip. I think I got a good deal on it. It has 127,000 on it and is pretty clean. It's completely stock, the only things aftermarket are the speakers, alarm, and the tires. Even has the dealer window stickers. It's been sitting for the last 3 weeks so it's dirty but it'll be cleaned up for me to take it to the track Saturday. I will swap in some Sportlines and put my 18's on it for now but then I will sell it (with the GTA's). I really only bought it to flip and have more money for the Formula but I hate the way it sits. I was going to swap in my N10 system from the Formula but it'll be too much work just to resell. Let me know what ya think.

$1,200? Didn't pass smog? I was going to possible pick it up this weekend. Guess not anymore. Also, I thought your brother was looking for one?

Yep, no biggie here as I don't have smog but I will fix it. I still have all the evap stuff from the Formula if needed.
My mom put the kabosh on it as she doesn't want him having such a fast 1st car. I had a 79 T/A with a 6.6 but ohwell. I found him an 86 Jeep cherokee with an LB9 in it that he might get.

Ok I'm at the shop the charger is a Paxton SN2000. I got it from Valencia & just lost interest on a charger. I'd rather have the money for a small block.

Re: Look what I bought
Well I decided to pass. I talked to him and he held it till I got down there today and when I got there the car wasn't what he had described and the suspension felt as if none of it was bolted in. The panhard wasn't and was banging around and the axle shafts were popping too. The tierods are shot and the front main seal was leaking. The shift **** kept popping off and it wouldn't go into park a few times. The front brakes were really bad. I told him good luck with the sale I was on my way so...

Re: Look what I bought
Look what this A**hole changed his ad to say! I was the one that wasted his time driving 2 hrs. each way to find that it was the total opposite of what he described! Now I'm pissed! Being picky?, it's just not wanting to buy a piece of crap car that I will have to dump a ton of money into just to get it road worthy again. It also isn't in his name, it's in the previous owners name from a year ago, he never registered it so there will be fees, What an ***!

Re: Look what I bought
My wife just read the ad and sent him an email. I don't see how he thinks I wasted his time when it was 20 minutes at his house when I drove for 5 hrs total. I didn't see where I could leave comments, I'll go look again. Ohwell, I guess I shouldn't get worked up over it, I'm not the one with a piece of S in my driveway.

Re: Look what I bought
wow, sorry to see all that time waisted driving down to citrus heights for a pos that was talked up to be a steal. By reading that new ad he posted, it sounds like he is just pissed off he has a piece of **** car that people don't want to buy from him.

Dude, I'm in CH. Could've asked me to get the scoop for ya!
Flips can be more work than worth it sometimes.
Let some other sucker deal with this bag of D.
