Times: Gates 11am, First car off at noon
Location: Island Dragway

The weekend will start off with the return of the F-Body vs. Mustang event that we had so much fun with last year. That will be held as a part of Island Dragway's regular Friday Street Night. Times, Classes, and Prizes for the shoot out wil be announced shortly.

The main event is on Sunday, August 12th. We will once again host the big car show with 8 primary classes, Best of Show, and a pile of specialty awards to be handed out.

The racing classes have been revised from the previous two years to reflect the growth in the club and to create more opportunities for everyone to participate. There will be three Heads Up catagories, each with a $250 cash prize going to the winner. Classes range from the N/A smal block on radials Pure Street class, up to the run-whutcha-brung Outlaw class.

There will also be three Bracket Racing catagories to compete in, each with a $100 cash prize to the winner. Two foot brake style classes, Street Tire and Race Tire, and a Pro-Dial open electronics catagory.

There will even be all F-body grudge/Test'n'Tune lanes

To see and discuss the details and planing of the nats please visit the East Coast Nats forum on the NJFBOA club site at http://www.njfboa.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=32

We will be adding information a lot over the next seveal weeks now that the date is locked in and we can more seriously persue sponsorship. Please let your friends on other forums know about this event, it is open to all who care to atend.

Hope to see everyone out there this summer at the East Coast Nats.

with the NJFBOA growing so much in the last year we expect even more great cars to come out and play. we even opened up the rules a bit to get more people participating.
one of the great side effects of the growth in the club is having better access to sponsorship, which means there is a prize fund this year

hope to see everyone out at Island Dragway

Just a quick bump to remind everyone that the 'Nats are in less than two weeks!

How many people are still planning on coming out?

Just a reminder that the Nats are this coming weekend. Whatever weather forecast they give, ignore it. Last two years they were calling for rain and all we got were some intermittant clouds and sunshine. C'mon out and enjoy!
