Here is the rundown on the BBQ for the 28th. I want to start getting everyone there around 11 i will be there at 10. i am having the permit papers faxed to me right now so that i can send them back in to the park. Once again. It is bring your own food and it will be $1 per person to cover the permit fee. The reason for bringing your own food is so that there is enough food and drink and not as much left over. If you want to bring some extra sounds good bring it. There is no Beer or Liquer and the water at the park is undrinkable. We have the site closest to the bathrooms and the playground for us kids. If you are going we should get a list going and get everyone who is going. I know they are not accurate because at toms river there was about 60 cars and only about 25 people said they were going to go. so hopefuly if we get 35 people to go we will ahve about 75 people show up. Should make for a fun day. "

Don't worry about it take the train to Newark, NJ I could pick you up from there if you want and drop you back off. It is up to you newark is 15 mins from my house even you want to crash at my house for the night thats fine to i'll kick my moms and sister out.

I am going to work extra hard on my car this weekend so I can definatly have it out of the paint shop b4 the BBQ, if not ill be comming with my friend brian in his teal 91 rs so either way ill be there and so will brian. I like that shiskabob idea i think i am going to bring me some of them too =]. Charcoal is cool too ill grab a small bag...

hey guys ill be there for sure no doubt about it. i thats like 15 mins from me and no problem to get to. i hope that the weather is beautiful and theres a great turnout. this show is in bradley gardens in bridgewater right? becuz i know of only one duke island park in bridgewater,nj.

Hey guys, I'm Gene for those that didn't meet me on the 10th down in TR I had to split at 9 and then met back up around 11 at pizza hut.
I just wanted you to know this is posted at SLPENG.com, LS1.com, Camaroz28.com and LS1tech.com as well. I'm trying to keep track of a basic # of people going. SO, if you would be so kind as to only post in one of these areas that you will be attending so I don't double count I'd appreciate it. As of right now I know of 13 people from LS1.com and I counted another 8-10 from here that's 23 people. I'm sure it will end up more as the month goes on. Thanks for your help and update us as often as possible with new people that may be attending or those who can't make it all of a sudden..

This actually might be the last time everyone sees my car with me driving it. Unfortunatly the car will be sold in the verry near future. Hopefully by Feb of 03. I really dont want to sell it but i jsut can't deal with the carb right now. As for CHarcole I will be bringing about 3-5 huge bags of it. Anything BEEF is good with me. i have a feeling i am going to be spending about $60 just on stuff i want and then some extra. I cant wait the 30 days it is till the 28th.

hey twizted whats wrong with ur carb? if u have a q-jet non-computer controlled and u have about 260 bucks ill put a edelbrock 600 cfm with electric choke on it in 2 hours. and thats the problem i had with my car and so far my car hasnt given me a problem YET. (knock on wood)

Chuck, you're selling it because you can't deal with the carb?! Buy a 400 dolalr TPI setup with the computer and install it... c'mon we all know you've got the money... you could even pay someone to do it...

Welli have a 600 CFM edelbrock ont here now witht he electric choke and it is giving me problems. THe TPI setup sounds like a good idea but i think i am going to geta 96-99 Z28 or SS. The color kicks *** on my car. Alex, i know my car is a slow POS. wait till i go down to the track again. 14.5 baby. i will not park my car next to yours that would make me want to race and give you a run you wont worget. lol. i know the fun never stops that is why i want something a little better. I mught just get a ZZ4 with a blower but my options are open to anything. And NO i dont have the money to do anything.

I'm up for anything. volleyball maybe after i get off the grill i love to cook so that is where i will spend most of my time. the money order for the permit is going out tomorrow. had to get some parts for the car fuel filter and noncense like that. i dont now where my money goes i had $120 yesterday and it is gone almost i got $50 left. Damn i hate having money.

I it but babes it should be a dark red car like mine i dont have a black car yet. Soon youll have to change it to a 4th gen LS1. How many people are telling friends about the BBQ? I have and some are comming. I have alos PMed some people that havent posted in this post yet about going just doing a part to help.

i can invite a bunch of people if you want. My friends will probably want to come, but they don't drive f-bods. One has a Subaru SVX and the other has a 4 door Integra GSR. By the way, Curt86iroc and Ian F are on my team. We will demolish all challengers

3 guys responded over on camaroz28. Looks like this could get pretty damn big. Whats the limit on this chuck?? Hopefully we won't have to turn anyone away, I thought you said like 150 or something...
Well, I'll be bringing a few hot dogs, burgers, steaks and my dads barbeque sauce.
I may bring my little gas grill too or maybe me and my friends will bring a bag of charcoal.
Do we need water to put the charcoal out when we leave, what's the clean up requirement besides using the garbag bins??

I may bring my little gas grill too or maybe me and my friends will bring a bag of charcoal.Do we need water to put the charcoal out when we leave, what's the clean up requirement besides using the garbag bins??

They have running water there which we can use to put the grills out with, you just can't drink the water. The site holds 100 people. I am sure we will not have more then that at one givin time. What you are bringing sounds good. Hopefully i will be bringing my LS1. If I approved for this loan i am getting it on Monday. I will be bringing charcole, burgers, buns, soda, cups and some other goodies.

the name of the place is shady grove. the name our BBQ is under is F-Bodies easy enough i think they asked me for a name is that was the first thing. hope they dont think we are a bunch of perves. Well some of you guys on here think we are anyways :lala:
