hey gang,
some of you may remeber hearing a few years ago about an event called teh east coast f-body nationals. after taking a few years off from teh hobby a friend of mine and i started up a car club for teh state of new jersey in august of last year.
things have grown fast adn nwo we are plannign our anniversary meet which will be teh return of the east coast nats.
we are planning to include drag racing, car show, prize adn give aways, vendors, and maybe even a chassis dyno if we can get one.

thansk for getting it on yoru calendar.

we have added a discussion of some heads up rules to the mix. we got several requests for some heads up racing from drivers and fans so we worked up a rules outline. check it out and let us know what you guys think.

class rules are pretty much done. jsut have to polish them up and then we will be postign them up on the club event forum.
we have 4 bracket classes, a "street" heads up class, prolly 4 car show classes, and a bunch of special awards for the car show.
as soon as the classes are taken care of and posted we will start hunting for sponsors, venbdors, and advertisers.
keep an eye on the event for on the NJFBOA club site. there will be a lot fo info posted up in the next few weeks.

hehe, we have a few of the rules sets up, i will have everything else including the heads up rules posted tomorrow.
we are gonna finalize teh car show classes once teh race classes are locked in.
we will also have an official event flyer available for download in the next week or so.
as you cna tell things are moving fast. we have a lot of enthusiastic members lending a hand and we have had a lot fo very helpful feedback on the boards from teh start.
this show could easily turn into one of the biggest one day gatherings anywhere.

hey gang,
i wanted to let everyone know that we have posted up the car show classes for teh east coast nats. we are keeping teh plan simple currently because of teh expense of trophies. as we add vendors/sponsors to teh event we may expand the class list a bit.
we have space to support approx. 125 cars on the show field.
