88 GTA and Intro
Hey Guys
New fella from Canada. I've been lurking around since I picked up my car a month or so ago. 88 GTA, 128 k third owner last owner had her for 16 years and never even let it see rain. She's pretty original and trying to keep it that way. Right now I'm in the process of redoing the headliner, repro glass spoiler and trying to find a GTA wheel that doesn't have worn out leather. Picked her up for 4G, didn't need a thing for safety and passed our emissions with flying colors.
I cut and polished the paint a few weeks ago and this is how she sits now before being put away to bed for lb the winter

Very nice car. Paint looks pristine, I have the digital dash in my GTA as well. It looks real cool at night!

Thanks guys. The paint well its kind of like a 2 & 2. Looks good from 2 feet away going 2 mph. Lol after I cut and polished it I found some blemishes I wasn't happy about but for 4G I couldn't go wrong. Struggling a bit with the headliner board it's a little rough from not having the material on it to protect it and I'm not really want to go abs because of the ridge through the middle

Re: 88 GTA and Intro
Welcome from Ontario. I have been looking for a used radio leather wheel for years, they are all damaged. They are very difficult to recover because the entire wheel is leather, even the hub, so no local upholstery specialist won't touch it. The only place I found that will do them is Dallas Steering Wheel. They don't even want your core back because damaged ones are so plentiful.
