1992 RS on weight jacks

I think the car is looking pretty good. Not bad for a car I saved from the parts bin back in 2007.

After all these years, I've finally got that look I've been wanting all this time. Its always a struggle to balance aggressiveness with classiness.

Here are the race tires.... these are white ZR1's... I thought it was an interesting look in case anyone wanted to see it. They've got Nitto NT01's on them for the autocrosses.

That does sit nice. The Vette wheels look sharp too.

Just the cheapie Hedmans. I've had them for years, I love em. They make my car sound absolutely insane.

Re: 1992 RS on weight jacks

I used Ground Control's kit... but I got it from No LImit Motorsports. They were a bit cheaper there than anywhere else at the time.

You can build your own kit but it will still cost you around $200-$250 before you buy springs.

Re: 1992 RS on weight jacks

That's what I've been looking for, a cheaper alternative to spending $500 on s set of ground controls. I'm wanting to peice a set of bolt in weight jacks together. But I'm having a hard sourcing the individual parts.

Re: 1992 RS on weight jacks

Look into adjustable spring seats/spring cups from the roundy round retailers like allstar performance.

From when I was piecing it all together the only real problem was getting the fronts done and tehres threads on here about how to do that. But they sell everything you need and nearly everyone that sells circle track parts sells various versions of everything.

The main problem, and the main innovation GC has, is that they are bolt in spring adjusters. Their adjusters fit in the factory spring pockets, which means no drilling holes in the k-member for jack bolts and so on. You can copy their design philosophy but it takes a little fabrication.
