I'm curious, coming from a past professional-current serious hobbyist in photography, what lighting rig are you using that is big enough and powerful enough to get those results but small enough and portable enough you feel comfortable setting it up on a open road with traffic?

Amazing pictures!

The photographer used a hand floodlight with a studio housing... thing on it.

He actually gets that a lot. That's what the raws looked like on the camera. It's just long exposure with good light control.

You should have turned the wheel at least a little bit off from dead center. Somewhat visually confusing to see the wheels turned and the wheel straight, LOL.

Car looks amazing.

I just did what he told me to do; I thought it was strange but I let him do whatever he needed.

Those are dyno don headers, and the plugs are just routed underneath them.

Beautiful pictures and an awesome looking car.

Error 404, Firehawk clone not found. B4C =/= Firehawk. Entirely different breed Ignoring the Firebird vs Camaro argument there).

Firehawk spec motor, ronal wheels.

Even moreso now that I have to comply with ESP rules.

Firehawk motors have super rams, don't they?

What are the differences between the firehawk motors and the l98s anyway? Cylinder heads, cam, and intake?

They were the old ZF transmissions. Super rare, and the T56 is probably better.

Sometimes I wish I had a T5.... that's an extra 60 lbs off the car and I don't think street tires are going to blow one up, especially when all I do is autocross....

But I do wonder... at what point do you get nervous? 245/50/16s arent enough to break it on the autocross course, but what about some 18x10 R-compound tires? is that enough?

Still... I'd rock that T5 as long as I could.

Mark Madarash runs a T5 behind a Firehawk 350, and he runs 18x11 A6s.

I think the T5 can be more stout than people credit it for. We're swapping the WC case for a GForce case and using the rear cluster support.

I think the T5 is super weak, and when they break before 10-bolts do, that's pretty telling. That said, I think when you avoid drag racing, they can last a long time. Drag racing is just brutal on mechanical parts. More specifically the launches. They're almost perfect for autocross.

What is a "Firehawk 350"?

It's basically a ZZ4 built by SLP. It had pink rods, corvette heads with larger valves, a 214/224,115 lsa, .470/.490 cam and of course the T-Ram. 350hp through that combo.

So if you got a superram you'd be in the 350hp range? Man that's a hell of a way to kickass in ESP!

What I wanna see is a complete Firehawk drivetrain in a 91-92 Camaro. Engine, T-ram, ZF 6 speed, Dana 44.

the 91-92 Firehawk engine was like a ZZ4 but more like a ZZ3 short block with 9.8 to 1 compression and pink rods, where a ZZ4 has 10 to 1 compression and powdered metal steel rods.

Unless they chose the option 366 Rodeck aluminum short block assembly. still trying to find bore x stroke figures on that option.
