My 87 IROC-Z with 10k Original Miles
Hey Everyone,
I'm a longtime member, have had a bunch of thirdgens over the years and recently bought an 87 IROC-Z that I love from the original owner, 10k miles, 350 with leather, T-tops, 9bolt, etc. I have all of the paperwork back to day 1, the car has over $8k in options when new, listed for over $21k. Original gatorbacks which still look new, belts, GM floormats, etc. Only the fluids, oil filter, and battery have been replaced. I'm having a great time with it so far detailing it up and going to cruise nights, just figured i'd post up a couple pics

No kidding, nice! I'm in the Leominster area. I occasionally head out to Kimballs in Lancaster and hope to go to the Bass Pro cruise one of these days soon, it would be fun to catch up at a cruise night and see your car!

OMG THATS IT FOR PICS? geezem man. these 10k mile Irocs are to me like alcohol to and alcoholic......... Geeez lol I looked at a 40K mile 1989 Rs 305 auto. and the way the doors close, and the seats are MUCH MUCH better than any third-gen i've been in..... my doors dont sag but the slam wakes up the neighbors dog sometimes lol

I also have a 87 IROC with same color scheme. Mine isnt a T-top thought and has the tan-camel (whatever) interior. Not a fan of the red interior but the car as a whole is beautiful. 10k miles is crazy low. Mine has 65k

If you were my worst enemy, had killed my whole family, and I could choose between ravaging your most beloved daughter, who looks like Scarlett Johansson, or having sex with your car, I'd bang the car. Niiiiiiiiiiiice.

HA!
Thanks everyone! I had an 86 for 18 years that I completely restored, did a nut and bolt resto, car placed very well in shows over the years, but I really like them with the low miles and untouched. Having a great time with it so far.
Some people love the red gut, others hate it, I really like it as I think it compliments the white well and the 1 year only seats I think look nice in it.
I have a bunch of other pics and i'll take more this week and post them up!

Re: My 87 IROC-Z with 10k Original Miles
Congratulations, that's a beautiful IROC. Like others have pointed out, a red interior isn't everyone's cup of tea. But I think it looks good with the white exterior, especially with the red leather seats.

Re: My 87 IROC-Z with 10k Original Miles
20k original miles, original owners kit, callaway dyno sheet showing 475 horse, Coil overs, aerobody, polished plenum, black on black. Car was originally owned by the CEO of Enron of all places, when the callaway work was done it was about $100k total. The car needs a few nick-naks from sitting which I'll do this upcoming winter, but I always wanted a Callaway and was thrilled to get one like this with so much history.
PS - i'll upload more pics of the IROC tomorrow morning

Thanks, knew it was a Callaway but not a Supernatural. That's awesome. I love the LT5 and I love those wheels Callaway put on the C4. Beautiful car...

Re: My 87 IROC-Z with 10k Original Miles
Thanks I plan to put 500-1000 miles a year on it. I'm enjoying the heck out of it I have been having a lot of fun detailing it up. I just hope they start reproducing the goodyear gatorbacks on it so I can put a set on and feel more comfortable about the tires

Both cars are gorgeous. Something about an unmolested, all original IROC does it for me!

Re: My 87 IROC-Z with 10k Original Miles
Here are a few more.
I usually don't like the red guts once they fade, but when they still look original, I love 'em
The floors were hit with oil when new, I wiped them down and reapplied... A little more detailing to do, but it's coming out nice.
It's raining now, but i'll get some better outside shots this week and post them up! Thank you for all the nice compliments, I really appreciate it!!! Hope to meet some of you at a cruise night or car show this season.
