Help me decide on Heritage stripes...Yes or No?

Help me decide on Heritage stripes...Yes or No?
I'm going to paint my 91 Z28 this winter(keeping the same color). It looks pretty good as is but does have some scratches, chips and a few small dings on it when you look up close. I want to take it to the next level with show quality paint. I'm also going to lower it 1-2 inches to give it a better stance.
I've been debating back and forth whether or not to put black heritage stripes on it. In a way I would like to keep it factory appearing for 91, it does look good solid white. But I've always loved these cars with the heritage stripes, plus I've never seen a white hard top Z28 with the stock hood with black stripes. I think the stripes would give it a more aggessive look and make it a little more unique. What do you guys think? I've attached a pic for reference.

I'd say yes to the heritage stripes....most of the heritage stripes I've seen on white cars are red. Not sure why...maybe they had red interior?

Here's a video showing "exactly" what your asking about. The black on white looks fantastic IMO. As long as the stripes are laid in this manner ( please keep them on the hood and not draped down the front like Ive seen before ) they will look nice and aggressive.Following in the foot steps of this car in my eyes would be perfect knowing it was a bad to the bone prototype.

I would have been very disappointed if I had chosen to leave stripes off of my car at the time for paint.
(Also a $3,000.00 dollar paint job.) Obviously I say do it.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I've seen a few white 1st, 2nd gen, and 5th gen camaros with black stripes and they looked awesome, not sure why they never made a thirdgen in that color combo. Looks like I'll be buying the stripe kit!
On the thirdgen heritage cars does anyone know what color the hood blisters were with black stripes? Was it a satin black like the headlight buckets or a gloss black?

I say do it!!! I think that they will look great on there... of course I would with both of mine striped up
The real heritage stripe were decals and the blister were actually painted to match. The blisters should be gloss to match the stripe, whether you paint them on or use a decal. I would paint them then bury them in the clear coat as mine are on my 91.

Its been forever since I've actually seen a heritage 92 Z28 in person. For some reason there are very few 91-92 Z28's in my area. So do the headlight buckets and blisters use the same paint code? My car still has the original paint on it, the buckets look more like a satin than gloss.
