my 89 camaro
ok so i started off with this 89 camaro with a 305 tbi w/ a 700r4 that i payed $1000 for.
i thoought it was going to ez to fix it had a hard time starting but then it started it ran like a champ. so i thought it was just going to be the vats problem. will it wasnt, so i new a few wasy to get it started then one day i was talking a someone about it and had the car running be hind me and it ran out of gas and at the time the gas gauge was working right. so i put more fuel in it and could not get to start back up so i push it in the drive way and started t fix every thing to do with the fuel delivery system down to the wiring. the guy befor me must of been a gargener b/c thought out the car it looked like he used hedge clipers on it and used electoral tape to do all the spits on the car. after all this i still chouldnt get to run after that so i change the intake manifold and got a 650 edelbrock and distributor. got it to run but shortly after i did this i had a overheating problem and cook the 305. lucky for me my dad had a 350 330hp vortech engine just laying in his garage so made a deal and got it from him and dropped it in, still had a overheating problem.
did some research and found out that i had to put a lock up kit in the trans. so i got one and put it in drove it around having a little fun with it and i drop 3 out of it.
it all so had this ugly *** cowl induction hood on it that wasnt event for the it was for like a 89 chevy tuck lol. it wasnt even put on right in was rivided on and and fiber glass tape on it that wasnt put on right on i ended fiber glassing the hole thing to make it look awesome but it is still short so i dont no if it will even work right
so that is where i am now resonantly had a hand injure and havnt been able to put a new trans in it yet so it sit

Las Vegas,
I lived and worked as a bartender at The Riverside and Harrahs casinos for over 10 years in Laughlin. Miss the nightlife and fast pace not to mention the kind of money I was making.
Any way, looks like the cars coming along nicely and a great score on the 350.
I understand that you would want to cover that hood with paint but I have to ask if that rattle can primer/paint is going to be compatible with auto motive paint such as PPG,etc. ?

Re: my 89 camaro
Again, nice but I have to ask whats up with the paint on the car ? The hoods one thing but it appears to have been sanded and not recently from the looks of it.

Re: my 89 camaro
Nice job on that hood! It started out looking like a "lost cause"... now it is something to be proud of!
