$550 dollar Iroc
A few years ago my friend decided he wanted to buy an Iroc like mine well long story short he ended up spending 5000 grand on a red 89 Iroc-z which he bought without taking me to look at with him....terrible mistake For that price it was a little beat up, and needed lots of tlc maybe worth 2000 on a good day. It is however a highly option car it has G92, Bose system, deluxe interior carpeted panels, and vinyl /cloth seats. Long story short he drives it for a few weeks keeps dying on him, has to get it towed home multiple times. He even puts on brand new hooker shorties, and flowmaster catback. Finally he just gave up on the car and just put it in the garage. Then he is hurt for money, and is trying to sell it I got first dibs, but he wanted 1500 for it, and i was like idk I think ill pass. One of my other friends decided he was gonna buy it, so he buys it, and he does nothing with the car for 6 months, and gives up on it too. (The best part is both of the people are mechanics) So he is desperate for money I ask him how much he wants, and he tells me 550 I said SOLD I'll come get it asap.
*here it sits in my friends garage*
*here it is the night I brought her home*
I bring it home with a big thanks to 1meanz couldn't have done it without his help Look it over some, and it's a lot better shape then previously suspected. My plan was to get it running, and to just turn around and sell it. Then my brother in law stops by a few days later, and falls in love lol I tell him if he wants it it's his for the same price I payed. So I am happy to have a fellow thirdgen in the family.
*Happy new owner*
Haven't got much work done to the car other than get it cleaned up, he is out of town a lot on business trips. Hopefully I can surprise him next time he out of town, and get it running I'm 99% sure all that is wrong are the fusible links are blown, because not a single thing has power.....keeping fingers crossed.

Great deal, i would love to run into a deal on a Iroc like that. Little surprised that the garage pick with all the stuff staked on it. Just don't understand why people set stuff on there car.
