ICT FEAD question

Not sure if anyone has any experience with this perticular kit.

I'm using an aluminum 5.3 block, truck balancer, L99 water pump (because it has the driver side outlet). This accessory drive will fit the balancer and water pump, I'm just curious if the alternator location will whack the steering box?

The alt will clear the steering box. You may have to remove the triangular K-member to frame rail brace though

That is the 98-02 fbody alt location, just shifted forward 3/4"

Just throwing it out there, but the speed engineering bracket can use all the same accessories, but keeps the PS in the stock 3rd gen location. Stock 3rd gen PS hose will fit. One less piece to have to make

What's the part number for that? Thanks!

I mocked up the truck accessories. I think they clear my hood by a hair but they don't look the best...

I looked it up online. I'll be honest, I like it better, the only thing I'd be nervous of is the amount of belt wrap around the crank pulley:

My truck accessories do fit with my cowl hood, but I think by the time I media blast the brackets and clean them up, and relocate the idler I might as well just buy something nicer like above..

Not to change the subject but I noticed you are running those Ebay caster camber plates. I ran those for a few thousand miles and threw them away. They were all bent, rode like hell and my alignment went to crap after the first hundred miles or so. The bearing section in the middle is fine, the plate is bad. FYI.

We actually had this conversation a few months ago in another thread. I couldn't believe how bad yours bent! I actually checked mine afterwards and they are still ok. Been on the car since 2013. Maybe I got lucky, BUT I do think I'm going to change them eventually mainly because I don't like the gap between the inner fender and the mount and now that I've seen how bad yours bent I figure I should buy a better design. My car is not lowered either, if that matters.

The reason I even bought these was because when I went to the spohn K-member and control arms, the quality control on Spohn is so bad I had an insane amount of negative caster. We had to pull the strut back so far to correct it that the strut rod almost rides against the hole in the upper fender. I think his A-arm location is too far back. Jig has to be off by at least 1/2".

Now that you mention it, I do remember talking about this and forgot you've had these for 10 years now. Man, your memory is better than mine for sure. Maybe they are ok for stock height cars. Just ignore me, I'll see myself out....

Haha. No worries, always appreciate the heads up.

Can't tell you how many times I search for a topic, and find my own posts talking about it from 10+ years ago, and can't even remember it.. I've got to the point in my life where I'm re-learning things I already knew.. scary!
