Best aftermarket fuel rails/kit with stock LS1/6 intake
Currently have the stock LS6 intake, and probably will keep until an entirely new combo warrants better down the road. ....I'd like to run AN fittings on the fuel rails, and NOT use an adapter for the stock fuel rails. Is there any generally recognized "go - to" fuel rails for this? I found one kit that was NOT for use with stock intakes. Don't remember which, but regardless....I can research and pick a set up, but didn't know if there was a go-to already established within the community.
For what it's worth, I'm skeptical of the hard line adapters. That being said, if that's what everyone is doing, I'm curious what fitting you might recommend.

All of the available rails are basically the same. They all come tapped for -8 but most neck it down to -6 with an adapter. Find a set that "looks" nice to you and make sure it is compatible with your intake. I went on looks alone and bought a trick set off ebay (no name brand) but took a few trials and errors to get them to fit on Fast 102. I am using the shorter LS3 injectors which also comes into play so I used a set of injector spacers (the ones that go on top of the injector as to not impede spray pattern). Most kits come with various bracket sets depending on what injectors you are running.

Did the same, went with a no-name brand off eBay because OEM fuel rail prices are INSANE. Basic setup with two rails and braided hose crossover on a stock LS6 intake. Mine are black, Deepmotor is the "brand," probably made by all the same little Chinese kids as all the others. No issues with them despite other unrelated problems that required taking them off and on and off and on and off and off and on and off.

I've found those rails from Fassterllc. Thanks for that.
....what do you guys think about using stock rails? I remember back in the day there were some fairly high profile fires having something to do with the fuel fittings on swaps. That, along with my dis-trust of plastic clips makes me skeptical, however lots of info out there suggesting the newer style adapter with the threaded metal "C" clip (for lack of a better term) apparently works very well, and just looking at how it works, it would seem to be a safe option. The swap kit I bought from Hawk's actually came with that adapter. ....one ONE hand....I like the idea of cool looking billet rails and time tested AN fittings. On the other....if I could SAFELY proceed without spending another dollar on fuel, that wouldn't hurt my feelings.
Thoughts???

You can easily 600rwhp gasoline using factory dead head fuel rail. Much safer and simple IMO. Why upgrade? making 700+ alcohol? Thats really the only reason I would even consider going away from OEM.

Stock fuel rails also have a pressure damper, aftermarket don't. Keeps fuel pressure from oscillating when pulses in the fuel system hit resonance (there is always some condition where that happens).
I've gotten my fuel rails from Nasty Performance somewhere near Chicago. The owner (Nate) is awesome help over the phone and has all kinds of choices so you can mix and match rails and injectors without needing spacers. Don't be fooled though, it's hefty money by the time you buy rails, -AN fittings, other adapters, hose, and hard line transitions. As soon as somebody says "-AN" you just start putting hundred dollar bills on the table.
Only reason I went aftermarket is because I didn't want any spacers with my FAST intake so did custom rails with tall injectors. Did it again with LS7 because I already had $800 sunk into FOMOCO EV6 tall injectors so needed custom rails again. Yeah, that's right, I said Ford.
The stories of fires are with aftermarket GM quick connector adapters where the plastic retainer clip wasn't seated properly or didn't hold and the fitting backed off. The fix for that is the screw-on retainers.

Re: Best aftermarket fuel rails/kit with stock LS1/6 intake
I don't think there was a big problem with OEM fittings, just the aftermarket.
Keep in mind that the typical braided hose we buy for -AN fittings will harden and needs to be replaced about every 5 years. It's not a "one and done" kind of thing. I replaced my hoses at 5 years and they had lost all flexibility and were really hard. That stuff is intended for race cars so fuel lines don't break when a car gets all smashed up. It's actually a lousy product for a street car.
One of alan91z28 build threads in the LSX forum explains how he built flexible lines from plastic tubing like OE cars.

Russel makes a revised fuel rail fitting with a threaded sort of deal, I dont know what its called but I originally bought one of their old styles which people complained would come loose, then found out, and bought this the new one has this slot and threads so it basically bolts to the rail, no chance of it loosening up

Holley makes a fuel rail kit that fit the stock LS intake.
