Help with long tube headers on LS swap 90 Camaro

Hello everyone, i have a 90' camaro LS swapped and i decided to finally get a set of long tube headers. This is where i need some expert advice, the driver side went in no problem but the passenger side that's another story i have spent the last 3 hours trying to get it in and i can't. Im running a Spohn K member and i already removed the starter and still no luck. Im at a loss as of right now all i have to show for it is 3 busted knuckles rust in the eye and a very sore back. If anyone could help me with this i would really appreciate it. almost forgot the long tubes came from Racing innovation and supply.

I had 0 trouble putting mine on both from the top and lifting the front of the car up some. But Im using the stock kmember.Just takes some wiggling if you have a/c. Not sure how the spohn k member is but I wouldve though the extra space would make it easier for you?

Dont give up though,Im sure if will be something small and stupid snagging you up.once it drops in..that moment of success will be worth it.

Re: Help with long tube headers on LS swap 90 Camaro

I find it easier to put the passenger side header from the bottom. I have the Hawks Headers though. People usually use a mallet/sledgehammer and hit the header where it doesn't clear. Downside to this is it will restrict exhaust flow and it does not look good.

Goodluck,

Ben

I installed my passenger side header from underneath. It went right in.
