Transmission: t56

lt1 fuel canister delete
I have a 91 z and im not runnin any emissions except the 2 o2 sensors. Did anyone just block off the line to the canister? i tried searching but didnt get much info

The canister provides venting for the tank. Plugging the line would leave the tank susceptible to vacuum or pressure. A vented cap only releases pressure. If you're okay taking off the cap every time the tank cools, gets warm, or empties, then you can cap off the line.

Bought a wrecked 01 Z28 and put an LS1 in it with a plastic gas tank and did away with it...
On my dads car though I hooked up the canister to his LT1 and it seems to function properly. I was warned by others that if you leave the line open or with a vent on it there is a possibility of a gas smell under and around the hood and I did not want to mess with that.
