Car: 86 Iroc + 83 Firebird
Engine: Iroc 305 TPI, Firebird 305 4bbl
Transmission: 700r4 in both.
Axle/Gears: Iroc 3.27 Firebird 3.23
motor swap help please!

on my friends 83 z28 with the t5 borg warner transmission he swapped a 4th gen 5.7 into it instead of the 305. shop told him he needs a 4th gen flywheel for it, would the 4th gen flywheel go with the t5. having issues finding the right clutch/flywheel for it. any help or part # appreciated. thanks.

99.9% sure the engine is the 5.7 lt1. not the ls

If it's an LT1, he should be able to bolt on a stock 153 tooth flywheel for a 1-piece rear main seal block. These are readily available from a number of sources. It's what came on every 86-92 V8 T5 thirdgen.
