Re: stock LS1 exhaust flange
With the EGR block offs....if i go ahead and do that and DONT flash the pcm to remove EGR function, will the car be extra rich or lean or just throw a code? in other words....is it safe to block off EGR and daily the car without it tuned out for a bit?

Have you started the car yet? You have to have someone turn off VATS in the PCM anyway why not have them do everything?
Good deal on those flanges as well. I used gaskets as templates and had someone CNC me flanges, which was $30. And that was the friend price.

Better off just sending the PCM to be done. Used to be able to find flashing on these for $50, but the price went up with the demand. You end up spending less money in the long run, and no banging yourself on the head for not doing this the first time. You also won't have to stop driving it.

I'm pretty sure 99-02 are the same. You see several different year configurations if you look around. Best bet is to contact the seller, just trying to help you make a good decision.
