Re: fuel pump question

Sure can. I ran my Walbro GSS340 pump for two years w/ TPI before the LS1 swap, the pump has no problem delivering 48psi TPI pressure and is a good upgrade over the Delphi plastic turbine POS.

GSS340 is a high pressure 255 ltr/hr pump. I bought it in a kit from Auto Performance Engineering (part# FPG-003 at the time) and it dropped right onto the TPI in-tank assembly.

I liked this pump at the time (long before LS1 swap thoughts) because it flowed more volume and drew lower amperage than the Walbro GSS307 standard 255 L/hr pump. That's goodness.

When I later upgraded to the LS1 engine, the pump was good to go. I've starved it running low on fuel several times on road courses, hasn't died yet. (knocks on wood big time)

Re: fuel pump question

I ran that gss340 also with my ls1, car starts up and runs with no problems. Although I still haven't been able to drive it on the road yet. Just upgrade that old pump and should be good to go.
