Need new driveshaft for LT1/T56 swap?

Hey everyone. I have a 1989 RS Camaro that originally came with a 2.8L V6 & T5 5 speed. I am currently in the process of swapping in a 1995 LT1 out of a 9C1 Caprice cop car & a T56 6 speed out of a 97 camaro. I have most the parts i need to do the swap. I was just wondering if the stock driveshaft will work temporarily/ i.e... is it the right length, etc., or do I have to get a whole new driveshaft....?? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
