So... Anyone running AC with LT1/Fbody Acc yet?

I've searched and asked before but didn't have much luck. I've bought all kinds of AC stuff based on this but have yet to get things going. As far as I can see the only option is to bring the AC lines up between my headers?? I'm wondering how efficient that will be since there is lots of heat there and let alone whether it will not melt??
Anyone have an LT1 with Fbody Acc and running AC? pics?? Thanks.. I'm trying not to go through another summer with a black TA with TTops and black leather interior and not have AC.

I haven't done it yet but I am going to have a custom blocke made so the lines come at an almost 90 degree angle towards the framerail. There is alot of stuff on teh passenger side so this will be a very "busy" area. I have the PS reservoir and lines all in teh way but it is the only solution I can come up with. Go to an A/C shop and read through their manuals to see pics of the different blocks they have.

You have to modify the k-member for the A/C compressor to fit. Plenty of info on this site.

Yes.... Thank you... we both already have LT1's installed... we know that the k member has to be notched... it's the plumbing that is the issue...
