LSx with A/C

Ok so I have been thinking about this swap. One thing that worries me is A/C. Those who got it to work how? Did you use R-12? Or a thirdgen gen compressor? Wiring? Any info would be awesome

Re: LSx with A/C

I used the compressor unit from the LS2 (out of a GTO) bought a block from Doc's blocks and some new A/C line and fittings. A new drier from O'Riely, replacement part. Cleaned the original condensor with some system cleaner( dont get the oil based, use the solvent based as it will evaporate) also from O'Riely new O rings and fresh oil. You will have to take your new line in for crimpping. Cost less than $100 for everything, works great.
