Closed // HELP: How to remove connectors from dash?
Hi everybody,
I am currently exchanging the shell on my car and I have to remove the dash from the original 82 T/A. Everything is removed except for the 3 connectors right in the middle (white/clear/blue). I have absolutely NO CLUE how i could get them out of the dash. I even can´t figure out how they got in there in the first place they seem to be blocked from both sides. Who of you can enlighten me?
thanks a lot in advance.

Re: HELP: How to remove connectors from dash?
those connectors push in from the rear of the dash. there's tabs on the connector that lock in place behind small tabs on the dash to hold them in place. if you pull the connector towards you slightly, you'll be able to see black tabs that are holding the connectors in place. i think there's one on the top and one on the bottom of each connector. you'll need a small pick to push the tab on the connector behind the dash tabs down. this will allow you to pull the connector out towards you and then you'll have to move it left or right to slide the connector back through the hole in the dash.

it worked and I just broke one of the small black tabs off.
