Factory Carpet Color Code
I have an 85 IROC and i'm wanting to replace the carpet and door panels due to a leaking t-top seal. On my RPO list it shows 62I - INTERIOR LT. SADDLE and 62C - LT. SADDLE CLOTH. I can't seem to find anything on the carpet color or door panel design. I'm looking to buy my parts from Classic Industries and they list Medium Doeskin, Almond, and Medium Beige as 1985 colors. They all look like they could be a match in the catalog. As for the door panels, if I knew the style it would be simple for the color. They list Vinyl (which mine are not) Regal, Encode, and Madrid. I'm thinking Madrid as mine are soft velour with the diagonal stripping on the top and carpet on the bottom half. So I know this is a mouthful, but if I've learned anything from thirdgen forums is that there are a lot of damn smart people here so im counting on you! LOL

Call or email www.stockinteriors.com.
they'll send you carpet samples free of charge. They also have many more colors in stock than they list on the website.
When you do order carpet, spend the extra $$$ and get the "mass backing."

Thank you for that "mass backing" advice! I wasn't exactly sure what that was or if it was worth the extra money. Now I know so I'll be sure to order it that way
