T-top storage.

T-top storage.
Dunno if this should go here or in fabrication? Has anyone ever made a 4th gen style t top storage tray and gotten rid of their bag? Have a single subwoofer I’m mounting in the back to finish the sound system and the bag really isn’t an option for me the way I am gonna do it. Was hoping mabie someone had come up with a vertical tray storage idea? If not I’m about to and will document it for those that want to know.

Re: T-top storage.
OK, a search turned up several threads about wanting to do it, and some home made solutions, but nothing as clean as bolting in a 4th gen piece and it works.
Perhaps some thought starters in here for you...

That current sub does seem to limit your options. It takes up too much of the well to use that, and it sits above the axle "hump", so laying them, or a container of some sort, flat is difficult at best.

Re: T-top storage.
I've had some rediculous setups in the past, ended up with a box I made for the bottom "well" which I've liked the best. Good sound and out of the way.
I ended up hiding the amp where the spare would be normally. I dont have the spare in the car.

I would suggest using a box like mine. You can keep you T- top bags and it looks good and sounds great, It utilizes the depth of the back to help with bass as well. You can't see it unless you pull your bags back. Any decent stereo shop can build it. Mine is a 10"

Mines a self enclosed unit with the amp built in. I’m starting to get some ideas hopefully this weekend I can draw some rough sketches and will post them. I think if I can build it the way I’m thinking a lot of people will like the design. Just gotta start putting brain ideas to paper lol
