(Need help) Temp fix for broken power seats? ('84 Camaro)

Hey folks, very-soon-to-be new owner of an '84 camaro here. I've already found the fix for the broken upper belt retractor, but my main issue is that the powered driver's seat is broken - none of the functions work. I'm picking the car up tomorrow, and the seat is stuck all the way back as far as it will go. So far, I know to check the (circuit breaker? fuse?) that runs the power locks, seats, and rear defroster, but I'm wondering if there's a way to manually adjust the seat. Something like a bolt on the seat's motor shaft, which is what my other car has. If that doesn't work I'm thinking of just unplugging the seat, running power to the plug via a battery or something, and trying that. If anyone has any knowledge or suggestions to share, that'd be great.

The seat is entirely self-contained. Just find the electrical plug under the seat and give it power and ground and if the motors are good it should work. I added a power seat from a 2001 Firebird to my 86 and only had to wire in 12v acc. power to it.
