Seat Cover Help?

I have a 88 IROC with interior code 82C which translates to gray custom cloth. When I look up seat covers I see colors like encore and madrid velour or encore regal velour. How do I tell what I have? I tried to message Hawks but they haven't returned my messages. Any recommendations on where to buy? Thanks.

Re: Seat Cover Help?

None of that stuff is an exact replacement for the OE cloth.

Re: Seat Cover Help?

I telephoned rockauto months ago asking the same questions, regarding my 89 IROC Z Vert. They said they would cause fabric swatches to be mailed to me (from the supplier). rock also said they would send swatches for the old (70's 80's) Ford pickups, I was restoring. Those never came and I ordered seat upholstery which arrived "incorrect" but good enough for a vehicle I was fixing to sell.

Actually, all the catalogs I looked at have confusing/unclear seat upholstery listings. Swatches would clear it all up.

Re: Seat Cover Help?

As has been mentioned, none of the available seat covers are correct.

Best bet is to get correct fabric from someone like SMS and then have someone like lethal make them for you.

Re: Seat Cover Help?

I believe I'd be happy with the listed covers on rockAUTO.COM , or another vender, IF I JUST HAD SWATCHES TO PICK THE CLOSEST MATCH!

They look nice. Am not dead set on having the Camaro name stitched in, but it would be nice to have. Has anyone seen these in person? I notice that price is for the front seats only.

Thanks.
