A/C Box Door Insulation
Does anyone know where I can get the thin foam like material that insulates the airflow doors that are inside the A/C and heater core box? You know, the replacement for the fuzzy crap that shoots out of the vents on our old cars. 😜 Also any idea where to get the green foam material that acts as a gasket on various parts of the box?

Re: A/C Box Door Insulation
I ordered some 1/16th inch closed cell foam off of the net. Don’t recall where but I soda blasted parts and applied spray on adhesive to door flaps cut to size. Let them dry overnight and reassembled. Worked great. Take pics of flaps before cleaning so you can cut pieces correctly.

Thanks, BADMAN. That should help a lot when I reassemble. Mine are so far gone, not only can I not tell where material was I had no idea what type of material it was.
is that foam on both sides of all the moveable doors? Us there any inside the main box itself?
Thanks again.

Re: A/C Box Door Insulation
Need to make sure it is closed cell foam. Regular foam sheeting will not last.
