Seat belt washer

Seat belt washer
i hate to ask this. I’m putting my interior back together, and I forgot how the seat belts bolt on. Does this washer go on the front or back seat belts? It’s concave. Does the inward curving side face the care frame? Thanks

Re: Seat belt washer
I really don't recall that part when my interior was refreshed.it could be part no.6 on this printout.

Re: Seat belt washer
No sir, that there washer be from the driver's side muffler hanger.
The only washers on the seat belt assemblies are thin black plastic. I'd have to pull out the book, but pretty sure they're the same part GM used between the window cranks and door panels.

Re: Seat belt washer
Thank you! The more I look at it, the more I can tell that it doesn’t belong on the seat belts. I had a mechanic finish my LS swap, and he used another shop to build a new exhaust routing after the long tube headers. That’s probably how the washer ended up inside the car. I thought I had 2 of them, but I couldn’t find the other one this morning. Another sign that it doesn’t go with the seat belts.

And when you said muffler hanger, I couldn’t help but remember that old movie Airplane II...
Striker : They're launching the XR-2300! Do you know what that is, Doctor?
Dr. Stone : The muffler bracket for a '79 Pinto?
Striker : No, that's the XR-2200. The 2300's the Lunar Shuttle.
